METU-SYSTEM Insulated Access Door IRD-3PL with PE

Sturdy, press-formed access door for insulated rectangular ducts or flat surfaces with various insulation thickness made of an inner and an outer cover plate which are pulled together thanks to two bolts and corrosion-resistant knobs. In doing so the duct wall is clamped evenly between the two access door covers. Additionally, a 3rd plate (3PL) has been spot welded onto the inner cover plate creating a hollow space filled with insulation. The self-adhesive polyethylene (PE) gasket on the inner cover plate makes the access door air-tight even by higher pressures. The oval shape of the access door allows an easy installation into the opening.

In doing so the duct wall is clamped evenly between the two access door covers. Additionally, a 3rd plate (3PL) has been spot welded onto the inner cover plate creating a hollow space filled with insulation. The self-adhesive rubber edge molding (SKK) is applied along the relatively sharp edges of the duct opening and prevents eventual injuries while making the access door air-tight even by higher pressures. The oval shape of the access door allows an easy installation into the opening.

In doing so the duct wall is clamped evenly between the two access door covers. Additionally, a 3rd plate (3PL) has been spot welded onto the inner cover plate creating a hollow space filled with insulation. The selfadhesive ceramif fibers (KF) gasket on the inner cover plate makes the access door air-tight even by higher pressures. The oval shape of the access door allows an easy installation into the opening.

Sturdy, press-formed access door for insulated rectangular ducts or flat surfaces with various insulation thickness made of an inner and an outer cover plate which are pulled together thanks to two bolts and corrosion-resistant knobs (or metal knobs for operating temperatures between 80 and 200°C). In doing so the duct wall is clamped evenly between the two access door covers. Additionally, a 3rd plate has been spot welded onto the inner cover plate creating a hollow space filled with insulation. A silicon profile-ring (SI) wrapped around the edge of the inner cover makes the access door air-tight even by higher pressures. The oval shape of the access door allows an easy installation into the opening.
