Special Products
Delivery times of "special" products and/or versions (they are marked in the price list with an empty point "○") upon request. Please note that, as soon as the order has been placed, it can no longer be amended or cancelled, and the products cannot be returned. In view of the above we suggest to purchase only one piece at first and try it before ordering the required quantities. A suitability cannot be guaranteed. The prices and specifications of special products are subject to change without prior notification.
Dispatching Dates and Transport
Delivery times or shipping/dispatching dates refer to the dispatching day ex works. They are provided as accurately as possible and to the best of our ability, but cannot be guaranteed. Regardless of who ordered and organized the shipping and bears the costs, the risk shall pass to the customer upon dispatch of the goods or their delivery to the carrier. Claims and conventional penalties are therefore excluded.
Ready to dispatch products which have not been collected five working days after the scheduled date might be subject to a stocking fee depending on the required storage space and duration.
Returns are Exceptions
In principle, a sold, properly delivered, defect-free delivery item will not be taken back. In particular cases, items in perfect condition may be returned as a gesture of goodwill and only after prior consultation. In such cases, the products must be in their original packaging, which must not be damaged in any way. Some product categories cannot be returned, such as round duct connections (flanges, joining clips, overcollars) and METU-FORM products. For accepted returns, 20% of the gross value of the goods will be deducted. The return delivery must be made to us at the customer's expense and risk. Additional work necessary due to defective packaging or other reasons will be charged at cost price.
Terms of Business, Quality Management and Claims
We are using since many years our own quality management system and have, for that reason, no official quality control certificates or an ISO certification. We herewith confirm that the METU products are manufactured according to the good engineering practices and specifications presently applicable to the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry in Europe.
In case of a claim the first step it to define the problem (we might require samples of the defect products) and then usually to replace the defective products. Any decisions or actions taken by the customer in response to this claim without consulting us beforehand are his sole responsibility, and any related costs (including corrective measures, parts or work) for his account. Communication is therefor of prime importance in order to find the most suitable and economic solution for all parties.
We supply solely according to our General Terms and Conditions of Supply and Payment. and we purchase according to our General Terms of Purchase
Other terms of business are not recognized: by placing an order you therefore tacitly accept our business terms and conditions.
Product Descriptions, Packaging and Labeling
Product names and descriptions do not necessarily represent the real dimensions and/or characteristics of the products. Weights are approximations only. The packaging, labeling and shipping of our products depend on their sizes and weights. It is basically not possible to comply with customer-specific shipping and packaging requirements. If the packaging does not meet the customer's specific requirements, it is no reason for an acceptance refusal.
For deliveries within Germany:
Our company adopted the "deviating" option of the packaging law and ask you for that reason to hand over the packaging to a disposal company. That way we jointly avoid additional transports, costs and emissions.

Validity of Information
Technical information and catalog information are based on our experience and have been determined under technically ideal conditions, or from information provided by our suppliers. The provided information are guidelines only and do not exempt the users from conducting their own tests and trials. A legally binding guarantee that the product features and characteristics are suitable for specific applications cannot be derived from the information we provide. It is therefore necessary, before using our products, to determine their suitability for the intended use. We reserve the right to bring technical and/or price changes without prior notice. Guarantees for completeness and correctness cannot be granted. Changes and errors excepted. With the publication of this document anterior information and price-lists expire and automatically become void. In case of discrepancies the German version prevails.
