protective gloves when handling our products.

The IRRD-3DE Access Door is to be installed on an outside insulated round ducts. The insulation is soft and covered with an aluminum foil. Can also be installed on a double-wall duct.

Take the cover plate and draw with a marker its edge on the insulation.

Then cut the insulation (A) about 20 mm inside of this marking.

Take the self-adhesive paper template and apply onto the duct making sure it is well centered inside the opening you just created in the insulation. Then cut the round duct along the edge of the template.

Then install the access door by inserting its inner cover at an angle inside the duct. Turn it straight and pull slightly to align it with the opening.

Tighten the knobs till the gasket is sufficiently compressed.

Place the previously cut insulation pieces on top of the access door.

Then place the cover plate (3DE). Tighten the knobs until the cover plate lightly compresses the insulation
