Insulated Access Doors IRD-2, -3, -4 for Inside Inuslated Rectangular Ducts

The following access doors can be installed once the ducts are assembled, the cover plate being able to pass through the opening made in the duct:

  • IRD 42 (opening dimensions 400 × 200 mm)
  • IRD 53 (opening dimensions 500 × 300 mm)
  • IRD 64 (opening dimensions 600 × 400 mm)
  • IRD 75 (opening dimensions 700 × 500 mm)

The following access doors cannot be installed once the ducts are assembled, the cover plate being too large to pass through the opening made in the duct:

  • IRD 21 (opening dimensions 200 × 100 mm)
  • IRD 32 (opening dimensions 300 × 200 mm)
  • IRD 43 (opening dimensions 400 × 300 mm)
  • IRD 54 (opening dimensions 500 × 400 mm)
  • IRD 65 (opening dimensions 600 × 500 mm)
  1. Duct wall (max. 2 mm)
     
  2. Soft, compressible insulation.
     
  3. Cover plate protecting the cut edge of the insulation and preventing the shedding of loose fibers.
     
  4. A special IRD rubber profile connects the cover plate to the duct wall without creating any thermal bridges
     
  5. Knobs (protected design)
     
  6. The trapped air pockets offer a good thermal insulation
