SR Instructions

Hang the SR joining clip with gasket over the flange installed at the end of the duct or fitting.

Place the flange of next duct section to be assembled into the lower half of the joining clip.

Tighten the joining clip using the SE Nut Runner fitted on an impact wrench.

SR 200 to 450 mm Ø : ≈ 3 Nm
SR 500 to 900 mm Ø : ≈ 15 Nm
SR 1000 to 3000 mm Ø : ≈ 50 Nm

For SR joining clips made of stainless steel use a stainless steel lubricating anti-seize compound and tighten the nut slowly by hand.

Interrupt the tightening process several times and hammer the joining clip slightly with a rubber hammer to ensure a tight fit on the flanges.

Bands or shells which surround the duct offer a secure and economical hanging of the ducts. More information in the Assembly and Accessories section.

For the SR joining clips without gasket:
Apply the self-adhesive gasket in the middle of the flange, otherwise the air-tightness class C (DIN EN 12237) might not be achieved.
