VDI 2087 Air Ducts Operating and Construction Fundamentals (2006)

The main design requirements for air ducts are as follows:
 

• smooth interior (low pressure drop, low dust accumulation),
• easy to clean, durable,
• non-hygroscopic,
• non-inflammable,
• non-corroding and
• air-tight (permitted air flow leakage to comply with DIN EN 16798-3).
